    I choose this restaurant because I saw it on Secret Joburg Insta. We made a reservation for 5 and when we arrived it wasn’t booked. The service was terrible. The food was not could and not warm enough. The portions were way too small a d the price was definitely not worth it. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. When we left we went at Paul Patisserie to have a nice desert! I wouldn’t even give it ONE STAR. Sorry

    The restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing and clean . What I enjoyed the most was their cocktails which were well sized and well prized . Their brunch menu’s was not that broad and their eggs Benedict royal waffle was not that tasty. The service was so polite and always willing to help , they were so warm the minute we walked in which I really appreciated. Overall I’d give my experience a solid 8/10 .

    It was my first visit to MATH. I absolutely loved the relaxing atmosphere. The cleanliness was remarkable. Even the toilets were sparkling and smelling fresh. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The food was divine. I will definitely be back. Kind regards, Luzanne

    The couches outside sink as you seat which makes it uncomfortable to seat and enjoy the ambience. Also, I didn't get my birthday dessert despite telling the waiter that it was my birthday. The cocktails are very nice and you can taste the alcohol it them, but you can also be a little generous with the glasses because they are so small for some of the signature cocktails. The Service was very slow for a place that wasn't so packed on a Friday night. I did not enjoy my overall experience, but there's room for improvement I guess.

    I was looking forward to trying out this new restaurant in my area but I was quite disappointed. Menu needs a lot of refining, food is either too sweet or too salty. Service was slow even though there were only 4 tables & about 6 waiters, they tried to make it up with free drinks/shots but nothing beats good service & palatable food. Hope they can work on this as the place does have a lot of potential.
