LUPA Osteria is a bustling Italian restaurant serving authentic food in a warm and inviting setting . Whether you want a delicious bowl of pasta on a random Tuesday, country fresh salad, wood-oven baked pizza or a big celebration dinner with friends, LUPA offers all this and more.

We pride ourselves in staying true to our Italian roots and in keeping traditional Roman cuisine alive. Each Lupa has a designated pasta making & drying room where our fresh pasta is hand-made daily. A wood fired pizza oven is used for truly authentic pizzas and for baking many other traditional dishes for that extra flavour and authenticity.

Our wines list is extensive and offers a great selection of local and imported wine, beer and spirits to accompany your food or have a beautiful cocktail at aperitivo hour!

    We returned to Lupa in Westville after a 7-week "absence" and were welcomed back by Sandile, Vincent, Mbali, Sihle and Ethan. We greatly appreciated the gestsure. Sandile made sure our pizzas were piping hot and even even brought them to our table himslf whilst Mbali looked after us admirably during the evening. Gold stars for all the Lupa staff would not be inappropriate !!

    Service was a bit slow to start with. The manager did, however, give us a free foccacia to apologize. Otherwise, I love the restaurant and the food is always excellent. Lupa Westville is in fact my favorite restaurant in Durban.
