LUPA Osteria is a bustling Italian restaurant serving authentic food in a warm and inviting setting . Whether you want a delicious bowl of pasta on a random Tuesday, country fresh salad, wood-oven baked pizza or a big celebration dinner with friends, LUPA offers all this and more.

We pride ourselves in staying true to our Italian roots and in keeping traditional Roman cuisine alive. Each Lupa has a designated pasta making & drying room where our fresh pasta is hand-made daily. A wood fired pizza oven is used for truly authentic pizzas and for baking many other traditional dishes for that extra flavour and authenticity.

Our wines list is extensive and offers a great selection of local and imported wine, beer and spirits to accompany your food or have a beautiful cocktail at aperitivo hour!

    What an amazing experience it has been. The food was absolutely delicious. The Pasta has to be the best pasta I have eaten! The service is nothing short of exceptional. We had our 3 year old and the staff went out of their way to entertain her and accommodate her. The owner Micheal as well is really sweet and came out to greet us!

    The pizza was very disappointing. Very dry. The base had no flavour and the cheese was almost non existent. I won’t eat there again. Sad because Lupa Hillcrest was always a great experience and moving to Durban North I expected more.
