Set in a converted house in central Franschhoek, the atmosphere at Le Bon Vivant is homely and relaxed, while reminiscent of contemporary French restaurants. The glass wall allows you to see Pierre Hendriks and his team at work. Tables are also available in the shaded garden next to the restaurant for lunch and dinner on warm summer evenings.

    Service a little slower than normal but it was explained as a couple of staff were off sick. No worries for us as we are on holiday! Food delicious as usual.

    Centrally located just of the main street. We had a great welcome from the staff. Ordered the suprise menu and wine flight. All courses were well thought out with layers of differing flavours. Copious matching wine. Hats off to the chef for inventiveness. Very good value special meal. Would definitely recommend which I don't easily. Cheers.

    We did have a lovely evening at Le Bon Vivant. Excellent location with friendly knowledgeable staff. Great food very well presented. We will definitely be back during our next stay in Franschhoek. Thank you Bon Vivant for hosting us
