This was by far the worst experience I have had at a resturant. I made a booking via Dine Plan 3 days before the dinner. We arrived 15 minutes late as the roads were blocked due to a function at Times square. 1. Our table was given away, but then they made a plan with a table 2. The waiteresses and floor managers are poorly trained with no hospitality ettiquette 3. We were given menus after 20 mins of arrival, and placed an order for drinks. Thirty minutes later, we asked for a waiter again...he took the order and never came came.. I then approached a manager and she said our order will be processed. A third waiter came without a uniform and took the order . This was the third try. At 19h30, we were then informed the kitchen is closed and we will not be a able to order food. 4. At 20h15, another manager by the name of Keabetswe came to our table and promised us our order...at 20h45 ...still no drinks 5. We left and ate at George's grill next door. George's grill had excellent service and food. La parada has a nice ambience with good entertainment, but it is poorly managed with poorly trained staff who are unprofessional. Will never visit the place again.

Limited menu since it was before the Robbie Williams concert. My wife had a chicken burger which was cold. I had a so-called Wagyu beef burger which was cheewy in parts. R196 for a 180g burger an chips is very expensive. We were offered free pudding when we complained about the cold food which we declined. When we asked for ice to put in our wine we were told there's ice in the ice bucket. All in all pretty substandard. I don't think we will be going back there.

Service was great. Food and drinks very inconsistent. Kept being told they didn’t have what we ordered (even on the drinks side). We enjoyed two of the tapas meals and ordered another portion but the second portion was almost tasteless. Won’t be rushing back.

People were seated "temporarily" at our booked table and then refused to move when we arrived, so a makeshift table was made for us in the entrance way. We were very unhappy, but luckily another table became available on the patio to which we could move. Not sure how managerial staff allow this as we were not late for our booking! Also, there was no way that our Wagyu burgers were actually Wagyu - they were very, very chewy and did not have that delicious Wagyu taste. It was a very busy night (RW concert across the street) but our waiter Raymond was a super star and shot the lights out on our service - the only saving grace of the evening!

We booked a table for 18:00 on a big concert night across the way at the Sunbet Arena. We arrived at 18:00 and by 18:20 they were still trying to find a table for our confirmed booking. Service was a disaster. Food arrived after 1 and a half hour in drips and drabs and cold. We had to find someone to pay and there was no hope of getting a second drinks order. With a fully booked restaurant on a massive concert night they decided to have a jazz evening with folks who were there since the afternoon and obviously had no intention of leaving when the pre-booked tables arrived. Just a totally chaotic and inept experience - probably just greed.
