    Unfortunately the restaurant was understaffed, or At least they couldn’t handle the crowds. The waitress tried to make the best of it. Many the manager could help cause he only asked if everything was ok and couldn’t see many other tables were not served and waiting for a long time also. We spend more time waiting for drinks and ordering foods. The cocktails we had mentioned red berries and passion fruit, this was syrup that made the cocktails not way to sweet. We only ordered starters and decided not to stay for main course. Nice decor and lovely place but this was a no for us…

    What an experience! I would personally go there again. The service was one of the best. Our waitress Sisipho really made us comfortable and was very helpful. I will definitely come again.

    We kicked off our meal with a few plates of sushi - decent in flavour but a bit on the smaller side, leaving us wanting more. The real star of the show, however, was the beef medallions, which had everyone at our table raving. Unfortunately, our waitress seemed tired and disengaged, which made the experience feel slow and less attentive than we’d hoped - especially disappointing because we were hosting international guests. For dessert, we were thrilled to indulge - it was cheat day, after all! We went for the cheesecake, malva pudding, and brownies, but sadly, they fell short. The brownies were dry, and the cheesecake tasted like condensed milk and didn’t quite hit the mark. Overall, a mixed experience with some highs and lows. *Pushed the food rating to 4 stars simply because of the beef dish and some of the other tapas we enjoyed.

    La Parada offers a vibrant atmosphere & excellent service. The staff is friendly & attentive & the food is full of flavour w/ great presentation. There are plenty of refreshing non-alcoholic beverages to choose from. A fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend & will definitely return to !
