Here at La Joya, we boast a private Fine Dining restaurant that seats sixty (60) which is perfect for private functions or that corporate getaway. Bookings are essential.

The Jem Bar & Grill, our eighty (80) seater family restaurant, caters for indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting of course) Our menu is a delicious fusion of sushi, Mexican, Italian and traditional South African dishes.

Come through and enjoy a tantalizing cocktail at our outdoor pool bar, while you take a dip in our exquisite infinity pool.

Sip a coffee at our coffee bar or have a bite to eat at our outdoor restaurant, enjoying the shade of the summer sun.

Savour the valley sunset while you sip on a night cap in our Cigar Lounge.

    Everything that could go wrong did go wrong! Unfortunately these things happen. But the key thing is the way the restaurant responded and tried to make amends. For this they receive full marks. We managed to leave on time having lunched on Greek salad and focaccia bread, and were not charged much more than the wine.

    We wanted a tranquil evening with beautiful views. But we were met with a loud almost chaotic environment- with some ladies dancing loudly one of them climbing on a table to dance. Quite distasteful. A beautiful place with potential , just didn’t enjoy the environment.

    The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Ntabi was so helpful from the time I spoke with her telephonically enquiring about the lodge until I met her at reception both on check in and check out. Her warmth and kindness is outstanding!!! Not forgetting Samson our chauffeur/ porter who was always eager to assist with such gratification. Nox and Thulani were also amazing at the restaurant. The Luxury chalet was immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning and loved the convenient location. You guys are the BEST !! We can’t wait for our next visit
