La Boqueria is an iconic eatery with sublime food and décor to match. The Hispanic-style restaurant makes you feel as though you’re sitting bar-side in Barcelona – complete with lazily spinning ceiling fans, hanging macramé plants, lush greenery and on-trend furnishings. It’s a treat for the senses and the taste buds.
With a nod to traditional styles of cooking on live-fires and in wood ovens, we aim to bring you a real food experience.

    An enjoyable Spanish experience in the heart of Johannesburg. The interior decorations gives the place a distinctive feel enhanced by a beautiful Spanish lady dancer painted on the side wall. On arrival our reserved table was ready and the waiter ready to make recommendations and take our drinks. No need to lift hand for assistance. We had a Prawn Gamba for a starter - presentation thereof was great, but tasted better with prawns on a bed of sliced olives & cooked baby tomatoes. The main course - we went with Paella La Boqueria (pork & chicken) dish good for sharing. Delicious! Can't wait to go back for the Seafood Paella. Finished off with a delightful Pana cotta with fruity & nutty addition.

    The ambience and service are excellent. Food is tasty, fresh and flavourful. I had the mussels and the table shared some tapas - chicken wings, sweet potato chips and Spanish meatballs which were tasty (if a tiny bit dry). Can recommend!
