The Kleine Zalze Restaurant and Wine tasting centre together offer a holistic Kleine Zalze integrated food and wine experience.
Well-known and respected chef Nic van Wyk leads the team at the restaurant and the focus is on timeless, honest, generous, and authentic cooking. Not necessarily fine dining but certainly top-quality delicious food.

Our brand-new Taste, Explore, Relax menu that will run daily from Monday to Saturday will offer you, our guest not only a selection of new dishes but also the choice of the portion size that you would like to enjoy. Taste – think tapas, Explore – similar to a starter or light lunch, and Relax – a traditional main course. All of these options are of course naturally and easily paired with a glass or bottle of Kleine Zalze wine.

Our relaxed, set 4 course, Sunday lunches with friends and family is a tradition that is shared and enjoyed all over the world.

    We have enjoyed the outside restaurant here for some years. In 2025 they decided to open for dinner on Fridays so we went. Interestingly you can choose any dish on the menu as a taster portion, starter or main. So you can just eat several tastes as your meal if you want. The dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. Our one piece of feedback is that the crispy skin on our fish was over seasoned which dominated the other flavours. All in all...thoroughly recommended.
