Chef Lorianne Heyns takes an uncomplicated approach to food, delicately balancing flavours. Hers is the type of food you can eat every day of the week, but still feel as though you’re experiencing something truly wonderful. Lorianne’s food philosophy is to keep it simple, creative and seasonal and to only use the best quality ingredients available.

    I was a bit disappointed with your Eggs Royale as the bagel came whole with the topping place on top which made it difficult to cut etc. I would rather prefer if it was sliced open covered with the topping / filling and then the top part of the bagel place on top of that or slightly to the side. Also the bagel did not taste quite fresh.

    Stunning venue, ambiance and good quality cuisine. Excellent service too. Worth paying a little more for a premium experience!

    We really had a great time at Jean restaurant, the stuff was amazing and thanks to our waitress Hope she was really nice and patient with us. Will definitely visit Jean restaurant again!

    The salmon bowl was ok, but the piece of salmon was VERY small. I was expecting a bigger portion for R220!
