La Motte invites you to JAN Franschhoek, an exceptional food and wine experience presented from a charming historic cottage, the Veepos, right in the middle of the Franschhoek Valley’s most picturesque lavender fields. Based on the popular TV series, JAN Franschhoek, this seasonal culinary encounter shares a nostalgic story with food as told by South Africa’s first Michelin-starred chef, Jan-Hendrik van der Westhuizen.

JAN Franschhoek’s team will include a culinary collective led by JAN Group Executive Chef Antro Davel operating under Jan Hendrik as Culinary Director.

Dinner & lunch is served at one communal table.

    We had a great evening and experience. It was our second visit and noticed the improvements which is great. Serving the canapes and sparkling wines at the Manor House are much better than having it included with the rest of the meals. The evening felt less rushed. Friendly service. Hope to be back next year. Thank you.
