“JAKES on the Common” is nestled at the foot of the iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive, in a beautifully designed, purpose built restaurant building.     We were a table of 12 yesterday for my 60th birthday. Our waitress was exceptional! However..... no Pina colada cocktail! It's a favorite... come on guys! Fix it!

    Our party of six all ordered burgers - they were all fantastic! We had a lovely evening. We already decided when we are going back. A definite restaurant to add to your list of Nr 1 places. FYI - all the food on the menu is great, over time we have had quite a few visits to Jake's. Can highly recommend and you will not be disappointed.

    The 4 of us all had lovely meals in the wonderful Jakes restaurant. We chose to sit indoors due to the wind but had a lovely breezy spot to offset the hot day and were served by lovely helpful and friendly staff at all times. The meals were tasty and my portion of a noodle bowl was very generous with veg, noodles and meat. The salmon Teriyaki was by 2 of our guests and the gentleman was a tiny bit underwhelmed by the size of it but they really enjoyed the actual salmon and noodles (it could perhaps be served with a little veg or salad on the side to bulk it up). My husband really enjoyed his curry with sides.
