They say money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a Hudsons burger - and that right there is the epitome of happiness.

The freshly baked golden bun with just the right amount of crisp outside and pillowy softness inside; don't underestimate the power of two really good buns, we certainly don't.

If you know us, we don't take life too seriously - we stay up too late, we play the music too loud and wear our jeans a little tighter than they should be. When it comes to our burgers though, it's serious business. We want to make sure that every last bite smacks you through the face with a big whack of happiness.

Thanks to our juicy, perfectly seasoned, sizzled, griddled and charred free-range beef patties, cradled oh-so-gently in-between those aforementioned bronzed buns and draped in our world-famous sauces with generous toppings, each mouthful is simply glorious.

    Food and ambience were great, however there were not enough waitrons available. Two ladies trying to assist everyone and it's the festive season! Although the waitron who served our table was absolutely lovely and competent, she had too many tables to take of hence we waited for ages for our drinks and there was no active check in with our table of 13 to ensure we had what we needed. We were constantly waiving at the staff to get their attention. It was 35 degrees in Johannesburg yesterday and none of the fans were turned on. This all goes to attention to detail. The plates and empty bottles in the table were not cleared timeously and I had to remove dirty plates myself and place them on an empty table so they didn't clog up ours. No manager or owner in sight, so get the feeling that there is no oversight in this resturant to maintain standards. A bit disappointing.
