Cheyne Morrisby & Danielle Oosthuizen open the doors of Hiro Izakaya alongside the successful opening of Bang K in Muizenberg. Hiro is a place of food, drink & connectivity situated on the beautiful Constantia Uitsig Farm.

Hiro showcases modern Japanese cuisine designed for tasting in a unique space that is synonymous to Cheyne & Danielle. Added to the Hiro experience Cheyne & Danielle have created a 6 seater experiential chefs table decorated with Danielle’s artwork.

    Sadly food was very disappointing- everything drowned in sauce plus tempura prawns totally tasteless…… such a pity as we were so looking forward to this meal

    Another great spot for fans of Cheyne Morrisby as it delivers his signature flavours, presentation and warm ambience. Will certainly be back to try all the other dishes!

    Dining at Hiro was outstanding! The food is incredible - our favourites were the short rib gyoza, soba noodle salad, and black rice risotto. The desserts were absolutely delectable. Thank you for a wonderful evening with great service! We will definitely be back soon.

    Loved the cosy warm ambience. The food was excellent. We had 9 dishes and every one was a revelation A memorable evening.

    Beautiful, cosy interior on a winter’s evening. The duck croquettes, tempura prawn and spinach were my choices along with the Duck fat fries, which are the very best! Beautifully presented, flavourful dishes
