Our cafe is open Wednesday - Sunday 08h00-16h00 (Last food orders at 15h00).

    They only thing that turned us off was when we need an extra umbrella then they said it’s R250.00 for rental. How can 6 people to fit under 1 umbrella ? And it was extremely hot

    The cost of what you get vs. The price is very low. I would not recommend these experiences at this cost.

    The Ground is a beautiful venue! We were moved indoors due to the rain but it was still as beautiful. The food could be so much better. I feel it’s expensive for what you get food-wise

    I have mixed feelings of my experience at Ground. We had booked for a picnic experience at Ground a month prior. While I do understand that they cannot be accountable for the weather conditions, we were not allowed to change our booking due to a 48 hour change policy that they have, mind you that they only offically opened on the day our reservation was booked for. The Food was great, great options however i didnt feel we did not get to really experience what we paid for.

    Love our picnic there, is a tradition now. Only thing was that we were charged for three bottles on Boschendal MCC Brut but only received two, there were a few of us ordering at the bars and they may have just forgotten or were confused. I ordered water and a bottle of MCC and my friend ordered the same just with ginger ale. We only have two bottle in our bucket. Ann did not check her slip until later when she got home.
