Here at the Greek Fisherman, we are proud of our roots, so expect traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes. But, we also believe in moving with the times, so weve added a modern twist to our otherwise classic menu.

Our cuisine includes Greek & Seafood specialities and we are famous for our Greek Meze, our Souvla (spit roast) and our stunning lamb in the oven. choose from over 20 Meze, starters and tapas!

The Greek Fisherman is now located in Sea Point, Cape Town. It was established in 1992 (originally at the V&A Waterfront), and is still owned, and run hands-on, by the same family.

Take a seat and get a glorious view of Table Mountain while you enjoy delicious seafood and meats grilled over open charcoals.

    Food was not of the standard I always remember it to be. Expensive but average quality Our waiter was absolutely fabulous

    While the service was fine and the ambiance was great, the food was a disappointment. The trio of dips had little flavor, but the pita bread was nicely toasted. The lentil salad was the highlight, with a light vinaigrette dressing and some pomegranate seeds that added a nice crunch. Unfortunately, the line caught fish of the day was over-cooked and tough, with the spinach rice being more of a glob which was not appetizing. It was an overall disappointing meal.

    Loved our meal at this Greek restaurant! Hubby enjoyed a delicious steak, i chose the mixed seafood skewers. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
