The Gilroy Restaurant is an award-winning, popular destination venue for friends and family. Situated in Paulshof. We welcome you to join us in the beer garden, or to relax in our Old School Pub, where everyone feels at home.

Every day has something Happening.
Tuesday's features Quiz Night, with Beer as prizes!
Wednesdays is alive with the joyous noises of Beer Pong.
Thursdays has Live Music and Happy Hours!
Fridays always entertains with some of the best Live Music available in Gauteng.
Saturday's, we host the Beer Experience (bookings required) and as always Live Music in the Afternoon and at Night!
Sundays are relaxed with some old school live music.
We also have large screens for all the biggest sporting events

    Unfortunately compared to the original Gilroys the new one lacks ambience and fun which the old one was famous for. I have a long standing friend that comes to SA and was always excited to come there for the Gilroys experience and was very disappointed. Unfortunately it does not carry the prestige it once did. Sad to say we wont be rushing to come back.

    Made a reservation however a table was not reserved for the group. We were seated at a tiny makeshift table.

    The price does have a great vibe and the listen music is top notch. The beers are great and priced the same as most craft beers, but burger I had wasn't too good and little cold. If they were R90 or so I wouldn't care, but R125 for a normal burger is a bit much. The manager is very attentive as he checks on the tables though. I do find it weird they close at 9pm and last call is at 8.30pm on a Friday night. They did run the heaters consistently which is a good feature. The hot sauce that you have on the table that looks like mayo, can you label it and say it is hot as well, please.
