    Unfortunately they sent us away because they allow no children in the restaurant/bar. They said it is a legal regulation. We habe been in SA for 5 weeks now and visited countless different bars, fine dining restaurants and even concert venues and never heard about the fact, that children are prohibited at places where alcohol is served... We traveled with our kids to neatly every continent so far and never had a problem with this fact so we were absolutely not aware. Besides the fact that the table was reserved at 4 pm in the afternoon and the bar was nearly empty, it was also a huge disappointment because we drove from Franschhoeck 1 hour to Cape Town to have one Cocktail at this bar to celebrate a special day for us. We went to another Cocktail bar right afterwards and it was fine, but it was really rude, also because the waiter made fun of us telling us "maybe the baby wants a Tequila". If there is a legal issue, which tells you to keep away children from bars - okay, thats fine. If you just don't want children in your "fancy" space I would highly appreciate to write it on you website or point it out during online booking.

    Best cocktail bar I’ve been to. Amazing atmosphere and great service. The drinks are out of this world. I didn’t have any food so can’t comment of that

    Tip is already included in the bill so service is mediocre. Nonalcoholic drinks for drivers are inflated in cost and not on the menu so difficult to choose and gauge prices. Vibe is okay but not incredible for a bar.

    Fable or feeble? That is the question. We had a reservation for inside however was shown to a table out side in the smoking section. When requested to change table or sit inside as requested the Maitre'D seemed agitated. We felt very uncomfortable in the environment even though the cocktails were amazing we won't be returning
