    It was a wonderful brunch on Christmas Day. Couldn’t be faulted. Good food beautifully presented. Staff enthusiastic and attentive. Extremely good value for money. Loved it!

    I am vegan and there was enough variety for me to enjoy myself. We visit on a regular basis. Great place. Will definitely recommend.

    Your website does not say anything about no refunds, I was supposed to go with someone but they cancel so I ended up going alone I explained the situation to your staff and they say the is nothing that could do your website is deceiving because it says refunds are full within 48hours, I didn’t even enjoy myself because that whole think disturbed my experience, you don’t even make an extra slot with that R285. that was deceiving information from your end!make this right before I take it further

    We left the restaurant without ordering as the package that we booked was not prepared for our team. They simple gave us a menu to order from when we booked the package for a year end lunch. Nobody bothered to call and let us know if we would still like to come through. As a year end function they expected us to have a cafe lunch. Not acceptable and they really wasted our time. Will never recomment your restaurant for the unprofessionalism. And all the manager could say was Sorry.

    Our booking was for 14 adults and 2 toddlers, due to being a yearly tradition at the Indaba, we have come to expect the same level as previous years, however, the welcome staff at the desk did not explain the tag system for the oysters and champagne, it wad embarrassing to have our guests being turned away from the champagne counter rather bruskerly with no explanation as to where they can obtain the required tag. A pity, the champagne half glass and 3 oysters later is only allowed, this is mot the only issue, the oysters were chalky and tasteless. We had raved about the brunch and oysters to our guestsand so we're embarrassed too. The pastries non existent, only day lold croissants. The cheese board was exceptional, however, only a few biscuits, when I approached the staff for additional biscuits, none were forthcoming. Sad. The staff was not particularly helpful or pleasant as we had to repeatedly ask them for tea, biscuits, tags, cutlery, hot milk etc.we have made many visits to the Indaba over the past 30yrs, including our son's wedding reception in Jan 2005. However, the standard experienced yesterday was not what we were expecting and accustomed to. It was embarrassing to us and our guests. The hot food counter was very good , the selection very good, the chef doing the omelet very pleasant and the omelet delicious. We hope to visit the Indaba again in the near future and trust our concerns will be addressed. Thank you Michele Mortimer
