One of the highlights of Hotel Sky Sandton, our beautiful Eclipse Restaurant is a must-see. Located on the fifth floor of our establishment, the delicious Eclipse menu is complimented by unparalleled views of Sandton. Eclipse offers elegant dining and can seat up to 240 people and includes an amazing bar area and an open terrace.

The restaurant is open to both hotel guests and visitors, and offers a’la carte dinners with live entertainment on select evenings. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.

Eclipse is open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 12h00 and Friday and Saturday from 18h00.

    Enjoyed dinner at Eclipse, the food was perfect. I didn’t enjoy the dessert I ordered however I enjoyed my son’s one which was the SA trio I think with a slice of milk tart. The koeksister was a bit stale though but either than that we had a wonderful evening with the family. The staff was friendly and attentive, thank you for an awesome evening

    Here’s the revised version: i don’t recommend this restaurant at all. While the pizza was decent, the rib eye was disappointing. The hotel’s ambience is contradictory — it tries to appear high-end but comes across as dated and tacky, with clear signs of poor maintenance.

    Fantastic meal. Well organized. Vegetarian skewers were top notch ! Music a bit loud.

    Our experience last night was quite disappointing. The positive side is that the restaurant is beautiful and the music was good. The negative sides include: 1. Difficult to find the restaurant. After we arrived at the hotel, there’s no sign nor anyone to direct us where to go to the restaurant. We took the lift up and down from the parking to reception, to the 5th floor restaurant and found the doors are locked. We don’t stay in the hotel and hence don’t have room key to open the door. There’s no staff on the floor. We then came back to the reception and tried to find someone to ask and eventually found out we need to take another lift to the restaurant; 2. Service: this is the worst part. We arrived a bit late for the NYE party, however there’s no one at the door to direct us. There are waiter and waitresses busy at the restaurant but no one seems to pay attention that there are 3 adults and 1 infant at the door looking confused. We eventually have to stop someone for help. After we finally sat down, there was suppose to be mask and welcome drinks, but no one seems to be bothered to assist. We have to go up and down to request for the drinks and for the masks, we never received that night. 3. Food: the starter is basic. It’s not bad, but for NYE party, it’s extremely basic. For main course, three of us shared food. We were given quite big plates of rice and chips. However for the meat, prawn, calamari, and vegetables, we shared a small plate. For example, there was only 1 skew with 2 prawn and 2 calamari, 1 skew with 2 pieces of tiny chicken and 2 skew of lamb meat. The veg bowl was also very tiny. Note that there are 3 adults who paid R995 each. We asked for more prawn and veg and initially were told that we might be charged more. After some arguments, we were given additional bowl of veg and 2 more skew of prawn. In summary, we didn’t enjoy the NYE dinner and will never try them again. This is a ‘rip off’

    Scenery and atmosphere was amazing, yet foods was not good. I was told is 3 course meals, yet it was skewers not proper 3 course dinner. For that price definitely not worth it.
