One of the highlights of Hotel Sky Sandton, our beautiful Eclipse Restaurant is a must-see. Located on the fifth floor of our establishment, the delicious Eclipse menu is complimented by unparalleled views of Sandton. Eclipse offers elegant dining and can seat up to 240 people and includes an amazing bar area and an open terrace.

The restaurant is open to both hotel guests and visitors, and offers a’la carte dinners with live entertainment on select evenings. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.

Eclipse is open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 12h00 and Friday and Saturday from 18h00.

    Spoilt ourselves for Valentine's Dinner. Awesome venue, the food was good quality and service was friendly, overall a nice evening. However, did feel that they did try rush us a bit in the beginning to get the orders in (this may have been due to a full Valentines Evening), but then things slowed down and the environment became very pleasant. There were a few little "bug bears" that came up. The Seabass was supposed to be served on tender stern broccoli, but it came on asparagus, the first wine we ordered was out of stock and the virgin cocktail that was ordered was supposed to come with mint, but when presented was just a cordial with soda, no mint and virtually undrinkable as it was so sweet. When enquiring with our waiter, we were told, sorry we ran out! We were there at 18h30, so early in the evening, and would have thought they would have stocked up for this special occasion. We would have preferred if they told us before rather than just presenting with the missing or substituted ingredients. Would like to try again on a general evening as believe it has potential of a really awesome venue with good food!

    Starters were ok, main meals (fillet) was absolutely disgusting, meat was dry and rock hard. Entertainment for the night was not nice at all compaired to the usual Eclipse experience.

    The hostess (blonde lady) was amazing and went out of her was way to make my mums 80th birthday special. Thank you, so much appreciated. It would have been nice if the entertainment was softer, romantic and suited to the audience. Maybe an opportunity to dance. Great concept overall, the idea was there but it didn’t quite plan out. Everyone left straight post their meal.

    Setting was beautiful. Main and dessert absolutely delicious. Balsamic reduction was a jel consistency and not a liquid sauce like I am used to. A palate cleaner was promised by the waiter which we never received. Our waiter Nothando was very friendly. The music was very enjoyable and songs were well chosen. Welcome drinks in heart shape was delightful. Cocktails we had were delicious.

    We had a lovely evening at Eclipse. The service was outstanding. The food was excellent and the view was romantic and beautiful
