Fabulous food, excellent service. We were pleased that at lunch time there is the 2 course option. The mussel & fennel starter was a taste sensation. When the staff heard it was my birthday we were given a glass of bubbly.

This is our second visit to COY, and we are so happy to reort that the high standards of food and service have remained the same. Lunch time is our favourite time to visit, watching the yachts while we sip excellent wine and explore a taste journey that is pure joy

Although the food was tasty and well prepared , I didn’t 100% enjoy the flavour profiles of some of the dishes , but my friend did . Truth be told I didn’t realise the favour profile of the restaurant was African / South African forward . So that’s my own fault . The one thing I feel needs work was we felt very rushed , even after 3 times asking our waiter to leave us he kept asking us to order , that was annoying s my friend and I haven’t seen each other for a long time and we just wanted 15 minutes to catch up quickly before ordering . Also I understand that English is not the waiters first language, I get that , but I am South African and I really struggled to understand him due to his pronunciation , I have no idea how a foreign visitor would understand? Perhaps help with pronunciation could be given , just with respect to the menu , I accept general conversation to be as it is , which is perfectly understandable , but when the words he is using to describe the food , are totally unrecognisable, then as management you should give extra training on pronunciation . We didn’t know what we were eating half the time

Wonderful location & food and the paired wines were a highlight. Slightly odd that the server seemed determined to get our wine order before we'd even seen the food menu. Otherwise, the service was very good - especially from the sommelier.

We went for the second time. The food is really good. It is a great option when you are in the waterfront and you are looking for well prepared food without wanting to commit to Waterside or Pier. The portions are a tiny bit too small for my liking especially when you are enjoying it with a bottle of wine. But the dishes were super tasty and one should try it when in Cape Town.
