Our popular Winelands destination has developed a devoted following since 2009. As of the first of July 2023 the restaurant is under new ownership of Nicole Marais. Being a mom of two she has decided to change the restaurant to a family friendly establishment.

Guests are invited to come and enjoy a relaxed family dinning experience on our wraparound balcony, where you become one with nature with our prized vineyards right there in front of you. Nicole describes her style as wholesome bistro food. We have all the right ingredients including award-winning wines, a seasonal, flavorful, beautifully plated menu. Kiddie menu as well as a woodfired pizza menu, a jungle gym, indoor kiddie corner, a variety of wine pairings and a, kiddie pairing so the little ones don't need to feel left out and of coarse priceless views.

We invite parents to come relax while the little ones make their own pizza, decorate a cupcake, play with the toys or play outside.

After having booked the restaurant early in the week, we got a phone call to say that the restaurant has been closed since the end of March already. Should not be available to be booked.

dining room needs more atmosphere and smartening up particularly given the quality of the food and service. Great views if you can get a table by the window

Super views and decent food all ve it a bit expensive. Set menu option doesn't make sense as there are no set menu options to choose from. The a la carte is in place and to choose a set menu from a la carte woukd be confusing especially cost wise. Just take the set menu pricing card off the table.

On a Sunday lunch most space was empty. Cold plates, so that the meal got cold shortly. Never that restaurant in service and food was it was before.

Food was average, not refined. Tasted their flagship red wine, disappointing to be honest. Could be that the bottle was open for several days. Tasted stale and dead. Not the place it used to be several years ago.

We have visited this restaurant for over 10 years .It used to be the highlight of our trip . Unfortunately things have deteriorated over the years both the food service and value for money no longer what it was .I'm afraid will be the last time we visit.Plenty of better options available .The view is still amazing though .Tip to owners get a really good manager to sort things out !

The food was terrible, I ordered the pork dish with noodles, it was extremely dry and expensive. The waiter took her time to attend to us when we requested the bill I ended up going to the front table to pay. Very unpleasant experience, I will never visit the restaurant again. Even a glass of basic cheap wine is expensive.
