Clay Cafe in the City is an adults focused ceramic space and tapas bar that strives to teach like-minded adults to be creative, learn new techniques and just have some fun while enjoying something to eat or drink while listening to relaxing music.

We focus on creative experimentation with ceramic painting guided by a team of passionate, knowledgeable individuals who can assist to bring your master piece to life.

Studio fee of R45pp, plus the price of your chosen item/s.

This includes the cost of your x3 paints, tools you use,
firing and glazing process)

For larger groups:
Medium item – R160 (ie: R115 item plus studio fee)
Large item – R180 (ie: R135 item plus studio fee)

Items range from R55-400 based on size and shape.
Bookings are set at 2.5 hours long. We host Wine and Design evenings regularly which will be promoted on our social pages.

    Booking was at 4.30pm at the Bree Branch Saturday 25 January 2025. We were welcomed by Reception and taken to our table. A Waitress took our Drinks order and gave a brief of were to go to get our items and colours and our Waiter/Waitress will explain the rest. She informed us our Waiter/Waitress was serving a large group upstairs and would come down shortly. Another Waiter brought our drinks shorty afterwards. Around 6pm I went to Reception counter for the Bill and she informed me our waiter will bring the bill. I informed her we did not have a Waiter/Waitress, hence us not having a meal. She quickly arranged a Waitress to provide us with our Items number and the bill. So we are not impressed with no Manager on the floor checking up on all the tables to ensure all tables are serviced, hence loss of 2 meals not ordered just from our table. I trust you will investigate the matter.
