    The waitress that served us went home during the meal - a white lady. We had to get another waiter inside to assist as we waited for a table outside to move and didnt tell us she was leaving.

    I enjoyed my halloumi salad. It was tasty, although I would've appreciated a little more basil pesto mayo dressing which was amazing. It is not inexpensive for a light meal, but considering the ingredients (which also includes avo and strawberries) and the portion size, the price may be considered fair. The restaurant can be a little loud with conversation, which is to be expected, but the aesthetics of the restaurant and the gardens are beautiful and the ceramic painting is a great activity. However, most noteworthy was the service. Tristan was our waitress and her service was impeccable. We did not have to ask for or fret about a thing. She anticipated all our needs without being the slightest overbearing. I will always return and would highly recommend Clay Cafe George.
