    We were very disappointed, both steak and lamb poorly cooked and service equally bad. We gave our feedback at the time to the Manager who simply listened and said nothing. Our worst meal during our month travelling in South Africa.

    Amazing that after so many years there is still such dedication to quality. Top quality ingredients and simple authentic Italian dishes. Some pricey wines on the menu but even the entry level wines appear to be carefully selected to delight

    Close to ten mins every staff member looked at Me, assisted others, brought bread to others that arrived after me. Will not recommend

    I ve been going to Carne since 2011 , food and atmosphere has been consistent trough all these years. The meat selection and cooking are outstanding and the dedication of its owner make this place a special one for me. Will always go back there.
