    We are (were after last night) regulars at the Gannet. We did not receive the pieces of bread/rolls that we always did. Is it no longer served? The oysters were off!! Disgusting!!! The Sushi was dry. We received our bill in a container together with 10 toothpicks but no after dinner sweets? What happened to the “ old Gannet “? The restaurant looks good but the service and food have seriously deteriorated. I never minded paying for good food and good service but to pay so much for such poor quality is unacceptable.

    Beautiful restaurant with lovely staff and even better food. Lamb curry was the star of the evening.

    Abnoxious odour emanating from the fish processing plant in the harbour poses serious threat to hotel, Mossel Bay and tourism in general and requires urgent attention. Let me know if I can assist with moral support.m
