Located within the Inanda Greens Office Park, overlooking a magnificent 9-hole golf course and surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. This hidden gem called Café 28 opened its doors to patrons in 2016 and has been serving authentic Italian cuisine to its loyal customers ever since.

Known for its unique and quality ingredients, most of which are imported from Italy as well as the fresh organic produce grown in their very own garden has given Café 28 the reputation of serving the BEST pizza in Johannesburg by customers who have flooded social media platforms with praises.

The well-orchestrated menu created by the Maestro himself, Andrea Giromini, consists of an impressive range of sharing boards (taglieri), pizza’s, pasta and heavenly desserts. The menu caters for a variety of palates including many vegetarian options, as well as a frozen range which can be made in the comfort of your home.

Monday–Thursday: 11.30am-7.30pm
Friday and Saturday: 11.30am-8.30pm
Sunday: 11.30am-5.30pm

    Food was brilliant, pricing on the expensive side. A bit disappointed that there were no seafood options. Justin was really outstanding!

    Portion of Plate of Pasta was very small for what you are paying. Pasts was not great - if you are going to use Pulled Pork for your Ragu you should mention this on the menu. You should also get a choice of Pasta to be used in your meal.

    Pizza, pasta and salads always great. For those not keen burger superb too. Service from Shireen exceptional, attentive to all needs. Best to end with a limoncello and Nutella pizza!

    Alessio has been incredibly accommodating from the start our booking and the staff, led by Justin was excellent on the day. Some of the best pasta and pizza we have in the city.
