1 November 1999 saw two impeccably well-aged and obviously grain fed “boys” Laz and Derryck, open the doors at Butcher Boys, Florida Road. Flash forward almost two decades and were still known for a great dining experience that delivers the finest beef on offer.
Our top class service is surpassed only by our unforgettable food, and our patrons can now experience this in two unique locations since Butcher Boys Umhlanga became the newest addition in March 2017.

Our beef is either wet or dry aged, depending on the cut, please feel free to visit our in store butchery for your special requests. Its then basted with our famous basting sauce before being grilled to absolute Perfection. Over 17 years of passion and great flavours have shaped our adventurous menu that offers nothing but variety and total satisfaction. Our extensive selection of vintage wines, stored in our refrigerated wine cellar at an optimum temperature of 16-17 degrees, will enhance every meal and turn it into a special occasion.

    We had the date night special for R600 which includes 2 starters and 2 mains with a bottle off wine. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We both were unable to finish our mains. Definitely worth a try!

    Jade our server was excellent. Ensured orr drinks were full amd tummy's were happy and content. Will definitely be back. The perfect way to break fast.

    Everything was very good, the same quality is fantastic, the price for this level is okay Only the invoice was wrong, there was a number (214 Rand).For nothing. I want to give tip, not on the bill almost 20% I think it’s not good for your image, if you tell the guest how much has he to give

    The food was out of this world. The spinach an butternut a big WOW and our waiter Emmanuel was excellent from the time we sat down. Keep up the excellent work an service delivery. It was our first visit and definitely will be back for sure.
