Presenting restaurant classics in the most thoughtful way, Blanko offers an intimate dining experience in the heritage building of The Alphen – a national monument and lauded example of Cape Dutch architecture.     Elegant dining, great table service with complimentary bread rolls - such a nice touch and so seldom these days. Posh nosh, alla carte and set menu options (a good deal), gorgeous setting.

    From telephony to waiting staff mediocre. Waiter unintelligible, states the obvious, doesn’t listen. Manager came to ask us whether we were enjoying our food before we had picked up our utensils. Also your salads are uninspired. Your chopped salad is hardly chopped!

    Nice outside tables well spaced Food excellent, best fillet steak ever, but let down by the very long wait for an ordered simple desert dish. Would definitely go again.
