Our unique region crafts our cool-climate wines, creating penetrating fruit flavours, and a distinctive minerality. But we’re more than a winery: we’re a destination. We offer comparative Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon tastings, fresh farm-style snacks from our farm shop, as well as pre-booked platters, both enjoyed on our veranda or in our venue. Shop for local crafts and our cool-climate wines and craft beers in our shop. And stay over in our self-catering cottages overlooking the biodiversity-rich Agulhas Plain.

    It was a bad stay. Kitchen was closed at 15h10. The wine tasting was five glasses of wine dumped in front of us, with no explanation. The document explaining the wines was totally useless and the last sentence was not even printed. The manager apologised, did not charge for the "wine tasting" and gave us a bottle of wine on the house. All I can say is that the whole experience left a bad taste in the mouth. Zero out of five would be my rating for a place that came highly recommended.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We do want to clarify a few details to help explain the situation. Our kitchen does close at 15:00 hence we offered you pick something from our self service deli and we made every effort to inform all guests of this prior to their arrival. We even reached out to offer a platter or a braai pack as dinner options which you did not take up. Regarding the wine tasting, we apologize that it fell short of your expectations. After you expressed your dissatisfaction, we did offer a free tutored wine tasting ,which you chose not to take up. We always strive to offer the best possible experience, and we regret that we were unable to meet your needs during your visit.

    We ordered a platter for two and although we cannot fault the quality of what was on the plate, the quantity was not value for money.
