Offering a variety of seating arrangements, vibrant décor colours and modern fireplaces, Balata Restaurant is famous for its outstanding buffets. Light business lunches are equally popular, but Balata is certainally known for its exquisite fine dining under the leadership of our Executive Chef D'Arcy Els. Using the freshest produce available, all meals are served with great care and attention to detail.

The Roundabout Bar has cascading views over the golf course and is popular with the golfing fraternity who need to recuperate after a strenuous round of golf, or that drink on the way back home after a long day at the office.

Bar Verve with its trendy ambience is perfect for a first date, a quick get together or just for unwinding after work. A secluded wine cellar hides behind Bar Verve and provides a sophisticated private venue amongst many bottles of hand-picked South African wines.

    The main meal and starters were excellent. The dessert was a bit disappointing. Ice cream was finished. There were many of the same things on different platters. It was really hot and the aircon was switched off and the windows were open which led to flies coming in during the meal. It was a good experience but small changes can make it better

    Disappointing as to my previous. High tea. Waiter service unbelievably poor for the standard of a Hotel. Our food definitely not freshly made

    We received superb service from staff. The ambience was also nice. The food was a big disappointment, very ordinary. Our colleague that had halaal was also not happy with her meal, and said it was not worth the price.
