    A Truly Unforgettable Experience at Baccō Our visit to Baccō as part of the Franschhoek Wine Tram experience was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. We started with a wine tasting, guided by the incredibly kind and knowledgeable Akhona, who made the experience delightful with his helpful recommendations. The wine was outstanding—so much so that I ended up buying more bottles than I’d planned! Afterward, we had lunch, and it was simply perfect. The restaurant’s architecture, the stunning views, and the welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable meal. We had the rabbit ravioli, and the soft shell crab risotto. Both dishes were exceptional—bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. A special highlight was meeting Head Chef Carla, whose passion and energy brought such a personal touch to the experience. She took the time to chat with us, which made the meal feel even more special. Baccō went above and beyond to make my birthday truly memorable. They surprised me with a cheesecake, arranged by my thoughtful boyfriend, and even sang happy birthday. It was such a warm and joyful moment that I'll cherish forever. The combination of exquisite food, world-class wine, breathtaking views, and outstanding hospitality made Baccō the highlight of my day—and my new favourite spot. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Franschhoek. It’s a place that captures the essence of what makes an experience truly unforgettable.

    I was the federated driver. Therefore, didn’t do wines. The rabbit ravioli was superb. Looked minimal but, very filling.
