The Deli uses high quality locally produced ingredients from suppliers who wholeheartedly embrace organic and sustainable farming principles, the Deli makes a visit to Hazendal one that satisfies an appetite for authentic, freshly baked goods with an emphasis on healthy eating.

Book a seat indoors, or at one of the shady al fresco tables offering fresh air and panoramic views across this historic estate. The extensive menu includes an array of seasonal plates, from healthy breakfasts to gourmet lunches. A dedicated Kids’ Menu offers a host of healthy and tasty options, with wide lawns and a secure toddler playground making the Deli the perfect destination for families.

The Deli counter displays a mouth-watering array of freshly baked goods, including pastries and artisan breads.

We are open from Monday to Sunday, 8:00 to 17:00 (Kitchen closes at 16:00 but pastries, treats and sandwiches are available until close).

For groups larger than 12 we offer a personalised concise menu, and a 12,5% gratuity applies.

Reservations are required.

We only accept payment via any credit or debit card.
Cash payments will not be available.

    To whom this may concern. On Friday 27 December 2024, we (four) waited an hour for our breakfast we ordered while there wasn’t an awful lot of clients. We did however received some lovely slices of cake on the house.

    The menu is different. Burgers, wraps and a bigger variety of salads was expected. However it was a good day!

    The menu are very limited which didn't give us much of a choice when ordering. The pork belly meal was enjoyable as elm as my friend whi chose lamb says it was good. Think more seafood should be included in the menu but overall we had a wonderful time

    We waited more than 2 hours for our breakfast. By the time our breakfast was served it was already lunch time. Our bill was also incorrect and the service was nonexistent. Although the food was good, we will not recommend or return to Hazendal Deli.

    The venue is really beautiful, spacious and peaceful. The menu for lunch is very pricy and limited. We arrived at 11:15 and the host was nowhere to be seen. We also had to take the lunch menu, even though I saw breakfast orders still being served at 12:15. We ordered the kids food first as we had booked for them at Wonderdal. The kids food took 45 minutes so we lost time booked at Wonderdal. Service overall was generally slow. The roast beef on rye was tasty, club sandwich too salty. Kids burger had to be sent back as the wrong one was brought to the table.
