I have been to And Then There Was Fire before and unfortunately I think that this will be the last time I go. To start, I ordered chicken nuggets for my children and there was very little chicken in the actual food. When asked by both the waiter and management if it was good, I explained that the nuggets were not good and remained uneaten. Neither the manager nor the waitress appeared perplexed by the fact that I said the food was bad and was not actually chicken and that they would merely take it up with the kitchen. In terms of price, I do still feel it is a cheek to ask people eating at the restaurant to pay a cover fee of R80 to enter Nirox AND pay an advance fee of R100 per person to book on dineplan. People have to travel a long way to reach this restaurant and all things considered, this is a very expensive day out for a very average experience.

It was a very expensive experience, great tasting food but expensive and small portions, with limited sides. Drinks are astromically priced. Ver limited options for kids.

Prawns were great and small plates were great. Pork belly was a little dry/slightly overdone.

Drinks menu was limited, the duck was chewy and the skin was not crispy. The venue is amazing 🤩.
