Alma redefines the traditional meat dining experience, stepping away from the conventional by offering something truly unique and contemporary. We specialize in the art of flame cooking. Our crafted cuisine is deeply rooted in the mastery of open flame techniques.


Our menu is made of two parts, a gourmet small plates section designed for sharing, encouraging guests to come together and connect their souls over food. The second part covers specialty reef meats and prime cut red meats, creating a dining experience that is both elegant and approachable.

We are inspired by a global palette of ingredients and recipes, bringing together flavours from around the world in a harmonious and sophisticated manner.

    I had an unforgettable experience at Alma. The ribeye steak was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor (mushroom truffle sauce is a must). On top of that, the waiter and chef went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our meal special. I can’t recommend this place enough—perfect for date night!

    The star of the show was the bread and miso offered upon arrival. Absolutely divine! The cocktail and MCC that I was were also good. The service is 10/10. I really enjoyed everything that the restaurant had to offer. Definitely making a return visit soon.

    We had a lovely evening at Alma. The staff were fantastic. My sister has broken her ankle and they went out of their way to make her comfortable. My only negative comment is that the restaurant was quiet as it was a Tuesday evening. This was disappointing for a restaurant as good as Alma.

    The food was a delightful surprise in a world where it’s becoming increasingly rare to find something truly exciting. The complimentary bread, kissed by the fire with a perfect char, set the tone beautifully. For the mains, we indulged in wings and a ribeye steak, both tender and flavorful. The service was attentive and friendly, though we were the only table at the time, so a follow-up visit will better gauge their consistency. All in all, a promising experience with room to explore further

    Really enjoyed the food. We had the calamari, prawns and aubergine for starters. The winner was the aubergine (well charred but still tender and great accompaniments - hummus and chilli) but my hubby also loved the calamari (flame grilled and had a great herb sauce to accompany!). For mains we had the rib eye and fish. Both were great but steak wins - well cooked and seasoned and the sauces were amazing! ( We got TWO sauces - a port reduction the chef was testing in addition to the truffle sauce the steak comes with Both amazing!) Overall had a great meal but marked down the experience due to (1) ambience - we were one of only three tables booked on the night - and (2) lack of value. The final bill (with not alcohol) was about ~20% more than we expected and although the food was great and service faultless, this likely contributed to the restaurant being quiet. That said - we will be back and are rooting for Alma!
