Hi - I am unable to review Allee Bleue Bistro. I booked for lunch for 5 people for 1pm. The weather was miserable on Sunday so I called in the morning and asked for my booking to be moved from outside/courtyard to inside and was told 'no problem'. When we arrived at the bistro, I was told that they had decided not to serve lunch. I was furious. Embarrassed in front of our international guests. I was then told that the chef was there and could still make us lunch if we wanted to stay. Needless to say, we left and went elsewhere. I won't ever go to Allee Bleue again. There are many many other options in the area who would be happy to serve us lunch. To add insult to injury, I then get this email from Dineplan asking me to review 'my meal'. What meal?! :(

We recently visited your wine farm, and while we all appreciated the beautiful ambiance and the friendliness of your staff, I regret to say that our dining experience fell far below expectations. The vegetarian burger lacked flavor and is in need of significant improvement. The risotto, while tasty, was served in a portion size more appropriate for a starter than a main course. The gnocchi was an average dish, simply dipped in basil pesto, which did not meet the standard expected from your establishment. Unfortunately, the quality of the food left us disappointed and made this the worst dining experience we’ve had at a wine farm. There is a pressing need to improve the dishes offered. Additionally, there were far too many flies in the dining area, which made it uncomfortable to enjoy the meal. Measures should be taken to address this issue to enhance the overall experience for guests. On a positive note, I want to acknowledge the lovely ambiance and the warmth of your staff, which were the highlights of the visit. I hope you take this feedback constructively and work on enhancing your food offerings and overall dining experience.

No food, it was a wine tasting. The Lady who has it done Was alright, the rest was poor. Not really prepared, no Breda or similar on the table. When I was asking only for an extracost. I will not come back with my groups.

Our first wine tasting for the weekend. Booking was quick and efficient - we were a group of 14 and it all went smoothly. Will taste with them again - and the confectionaries were magnificent

We celebrated Father's Day breakfrast on the Saturday before Father's Day. Everyone was warm and welcoming. As a family we arrived hungry and eager to warm up after a morning walk. The staff were wonderfully engaging and while we were not doing any wine-tasting, I observed the staff's knowledge and enthusiasm at sharing their knowledge with other patrons. At our table, we were kept entertained by the staff chatting about the artwork as well as offering sterling service. And mixing an matching a little according to out tastes. A lovely ambience and very welcoming environment. I'll bring my elderly parents to the Bistro, too, as it's also wheelchair-friendly so ideal for walking sticks and walkers. I'm definitely visiting soon. My husband enjoyed our celebration of him here.
