As the main restaurant in Hyatt Regency Cape Town, we invite you to try our lekker dishes that are infused with traditional recipes and designed to impress all your chinas.

Scout our kwaai winter specials this season; we offer a ncaa breakfast spread, hearty curries every Friday night and a wholesome Sunday brunch for the mornings when you just want to sleep in. Chommies, you can also book our restaurant for any of your upcoming special occasions this season and we’ll waiver the venue hire fee. Aweh!

    It was all very good, thank you. Although a Berry Compote/Stewed Fruit would have been welcomed with the offered Yoghurt. The sausage offered with hot foods was a little overcooked, maybe a meatier more flavourful sausage would have sufficed! Over and above, a pleasant experience coupled with great service!!

    I will never recommend your venue to anyone, im so sorry. The food was not that what anyoje would expect for a Hyatt Hotel, it was also too little for the people, when i wold them when making the booking, 30 pax definite but make provisison for extra, as we will.settle extras direct but when exrtra came no food. I was told buffet from 13h00 to 17h00, then 16h00 buffet cleared without notification. I remember very clearly i was told buffet until 17h00 and will not forget details like that as i myself has been a hospitalier for many years. The sound in the hotel was so loud, we couldnt hear speeches and then when we request for softer, its out louder first and then soft again to where it originally was. During the event waitors was completely abscent, i had to walk up and down looking for a perwon to ask for food or to bring some drinks. If im going mention all the complaints, Ill be typing the whole day....on the actual buffet, the fruits was 1 half strawberry and the reason i know this, i dished it myself first when buffet opened. We ran a bill of almost R15000 or more, i cant even think now, thats my level of disaapointment.. Mrs Martin 0623253266

    My expectations did not meet reality. And what we saw online was not the same as on the menu, variety was limited and my wife got no baby potatoes with her seafood boil and also stated it was a seafood boil for 2 but it was only enough for one and no ribs on the menu as stated online

    Husband and I booked for the Friday Seafood Boil Special at Hyatt. Firstly I would like to say, service at the hotel is always a positive vibe. We were greeted with friendly smiles and upon entering the restaurant, the waitress recognized us even though we've only been there two other times. She immediately showed us to our table and knew which table in the restaurant we prefer sitting at. This shows attention to detail & good customer service. The ambience inside the restaurant is also always a positive vibe. In all three visits to the restaurant, we've basically had the restaurant to ourselves, it gives a lovely time for us to catch up without the distractions of having to many people around. The food. We absolutely enjoyed the Seafood Boil. Though it is not exactly what's being televised as a seafood boil ( what we see on tv ) - I would say this is the Hyatt's version of a Seafood Boil. The boil was tasteful , flavorful , the bread served along with it, accompanied it perfectly and the portion size, though at first we thought would not be enough for two - was actually more than enough for both hubby and I. Not forgetting to mention we tried a Bo Kaap mocktail and this just added to the beautiful flavors of the boil. We absolutely enjoyed our dinner at Hyatt & more so I enjoyed my women's day evening with the lovely ambience and great service at Hyatt. We think that Hyatt is our new go to place. We are going through the list of specials:) Eid Buffet - done & dusted was great Cape Malay Buffet - done & dusted was great Seafood Boil - done & dusted was great.     Amazing food, amazing service. Could use some variety for Sunday roast but loved it nonetheless.
