    Wortelgat never disappoints and this time it excelled and certainly exceeded our expectations. Kudos to the chef for providing an interesting, varied and refined dinner. Kudos also for the choice of wines for the pairing. Our French friends were very impressed. And so were we. I’m sure our dinner will be the highlight of our friends’ 3 weeks visit to South Africa.

    ....if there were ever to be a Michelin Guide for South Africa: the Wortelgat would be candidate number 1 and yet it is by no means out of the ordinary: on this wonderful wine estate the matching restaurant !!!!
