Villa Bianca has just released its new menu incorporating Sushi and emphasis is on fresh imported Scottish Salmon as well as fresh export quality Tuna, both of which are now available on the normal menu in the form of: Grilled Salmon, Seared Tuna Steak, or the delicious Tuna Espatada which is cubed Tuna Steaks grilled and skewered with Haloumi cheese, red peppers, green peppers and onions served with rice or chips and Japanese style stir fried vegetables, Fillet on the Bone prepared in Villa Bianca’s favourite way; “Chateau Briand Style”, topped with pan-fried Camembert Cheese and a Cranberry reduction.

    Hi I won't be returning to VIlla Bianca. The restaurant is too dark for a day time venue. It needs additional lighting for the day. The black tablecloths darken the place further. The waiter messed up 4 of the 7 orders. I was presented with a Tiger Roll instead of a Dragon roll. Originally I thought I had made the mistake because the waiter kept on insisting that my food was the Dragon Roll. My daughter received cooked salmon poke bowl rather than the raw option. My other daughter received sushi without the sauce. They then took the sushi away, plonked the sauce on cold and did not fire it up. My father ordered sushi which never arrived and he left without eating because he was in a hurry. The manager sorted everything out except for my dad's but to get 4 orders wrong is not pleasant. The meal with drinks cost just over R2100. A lot for 7 people, 2 of who did not eat at all!! The drinks are ridiculously overpriced. Ridiculously. Even the ribs my daughter ordered were not substantial. We are prepared to pay for a good meal but yesterday just felt like a total rip off. Won't be back

    We had booked a table for 8 and told the lady that took the booking that we will all be having the sushi special. We arrived at 18:30. After being seated at a lovely table, but right next to the smoking section, we had to move because the cigarette smoke kept coming through the open door. We tried closing the door. But every waiter that needed to deliver food just opened it again. You need to invest in an “air curtain” to keep the smoke inside. We moved to a much better table and was then served by Enzo. After placing orders for drinks and then all our sushi, we only had the food arrive after 20:00. Can you imagine that? We sat from 18:30 until 20:00 to get food. Shame it’s not Enzo’s fault - he kept saying it’s a large order, but surely some of the sushi was prepared already? Villa Bianca always prepares sushi before hand, I’ve seen it… but this was unpleasant. We eventually ate from 20:00 and left at 21:00. We would have loved dessert and coffees but it was just unfortunately too late for that. So we had to skip it…. It was a shame, as these were guests on route to Brazil that we wanted to treat. It wasn’t the best experience unfortunately. Very slow food service… And many of the food items (sushi), the “ fire” element was forgotten by Enzo and sometime he forgot to torch some sushi. So the whole “experience “ was lost unfortunately.

    We enjoyed our lunch thanks. Everything was delicious except the hallumi sushi. Please revise the recipe. We all tasted it and it was really not good.
