Your Hosts - Matteo Santini & Maurizio Carlo. These Two where born and raised in Italy. Matteo In the Beautiful Bolognia and Maurizio in Fiery Florence. They have both Traveled the world for the past 10 years and Finally decided to Settle in our beautiful Cape Town. Together have taken over THE WOODLANDS EATERY as of the 01 June 2017.

They strive to incorporate authentic Italian cuisine combined with the delicious existing local flavors. We welcome you into their home and hope that you enjoy and feel part of the famiglia

    Food value is excellent. Wine value vs quality is a bit steep.

    Enjoyable food, service was friendly but the kitchen was rather slow when the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Enjoyable, but not sure we will return.

    I ate the best mushroom risotto I ever tasted - and I have tasted many, as it is my favourite dish. Unobtrusive yet excellent service.
