    Hi guys, I would have given them 5 stars for everything, but I picked up food poisoning here. I literally got sick driving home after I ate there. Flies are a big problem and because the cows walk freely around the restaurant, I believe something got in my food or drink.

    For R175 the burger was delicious but tiny….it didn’t fill me up. We ordered a side of onions but would have appreciated the waitress telling us that the burger comes with onions! Also, on Valentine’s Day, any gesture would have been nice….nothing…..

    We received a phone call as we took the turnoff to the deli for our 7pm booking and was informed that our booking is cancelled due to load shedding. Surely an institution of this caliber, charging such premiums should be well prepared for such circumstances? We made our way to one of the many family restaurants in Paarl and did not even notice the power was down.
