There’s something enchanting about taking in the views of trees and your surrounding while eating a meal at The Terrace. The menu is simple, from wafer-thin pizza bases, sushi, perfectly grilled salmon, sirloin tagliata and freshly made salads. This is the spot for a casual meet up with friends.

    We just had a pizza as we had had a late lunch and weren’t particularly hungry. It was good but not exceptional. The service, however, was excellent and I really like the warm welcoming decor. Sadly there were only three parties eating there on a Friday night. What a pity Newlands people aren’t a bit more supportive of this lovely restaurant right in its heart. Will def go back.

    We chose the restaurant for the variety of dishes to make sure all guests could find something they liked and everyone really loved their food. It was very tasty. I had avo in my poke bowl that was hard but they sorted that very quickly and even gave me extra salmon for the inconvenience. Also a lovely brownie and ice cream to celebrate my birthday! Will definitely be back.

    Such amazing waiters, the food was beyond amazing. The service was excellent. I would recommend for any occasion to make a day out of it and spend it here.

    Sushi took 45 minutes to come out and restaurant was not full. Eventually whne it was served it was loaded with sweet chilli sauce and some sweet soy ro dress the sushi. This was not mentioned on the menu. Very very average sushi. Pizza was better. Service slow and waiter could not understand what we wanted to order . Slow and replay not great

    My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! The specials it offers help us keep coming back. We had the rainbow roll sushi plate and bacon, avo, feta pizza, I highly recommend both !
