Situated in an elevated valley of outstanding beauty, Oldenburg Vineyards is surrounded by a spectacular mountain amphitheatre. At the heart of the farm lies Rondekop – our iconic, round hill which influences the vineyards planted on and around it, creating our extraordinary terroir.

    This was our second stay in Oldenburg. The place itself is calm and give room to everybody. We appreciate no busses and no wine tram. The outlook is gorgeous and peaceful. We would come back again if we come back to South Africa. Service and ambience should become 6* if possible. Angela und Peter from Germany

    In my humble opinion probably the best wine tasting experience in the Cape Winelands It's a must visit Fabulous staff Fabulous venue Fabulous atmosphere Amazing views Excellent wines

    We had the Rondekop tasting including the Chardonnay. It was the most expensive tasting we have had in South Africa but the wine was beautiful, the service excellent, the views unbeatable and it was accompanied by cheese and olives. This is an experience not to be missed.

    Simply one of the best winery vineyard tastings that you will experience in Stellenbosh, I work in the Wine Trade and have visited more wineries than I can remember but this is right up there in terms of ambience, location, service and quality of the wines. It's not a free, but it's great value in context. Special mention to P our Sommelier who explained the wines so well, with enthusiasm and knowledge. Well done Adrian and Vanessa for the vision and to Thys for spending time to take some time out to come a chat with us on a busy working day,
