The Kraal and Joostenberg Wine Estate offer several unique farm, food and wine events through-out the year.

HARVEST PARTY Coming up soon is the Spogwijn Harvest Party on Saturday 1 February 2025.
It's going to be an unforgettable evening celebrating the harvest season in true farm style!

Schedule:
6:30 pm: Arrival and wine tasting by top wineries, including Joostenberg Wine Estate, Miles Mossop Wines, Beaumont Wines, Capensis Wines, Newton Johnson Family Vineyards, and AA Badenhorst Family Wines.
Platters of seasonal snacks served, followed by a sit down farm feast.

Price R590pp includes the wine tasting + 3 course meal and service; excludes wines purchased to have with supper or to take home.
Booking is essential.
Expect summer vibes, music, ‘gees’, good food & delicious wines.

FARM WALKS. Look out for our monthly guided farm walks, including arrival coffee and patry, cellar visit and finishing with a wine tasting.

    Great evening. The setting is superb with a relaxed farm yard feel, food tasty and fresh, service and wine fantastic. Highly recommend .

    Couldn't have enjoyed the Spog Wijn event more. Will be coming back every year, the wines, food, hospitality, and setting were all perfect.

    They say simplicity is one of the hardest things to achieve. The Kraal’s idea of simplicity is beautifully portioned servings of delicious, home grown fare served in an unpretentious, authentic farm environment. Chapeau!

    Absolutely perfect! We did the wine tour before lunch which was fabulous, very interesting! Delicious wines in the tasting and a perfect lunch to follow, many thanks to Susan and her lovely crew.
