    The establishment is situated within a charming Victorian structure. The interior design of the dining area is elegant, boasting high ceilings and other sophisticated features. Unfortunately, the steak I had requested to be cooked medium was served well done. Additionally, I find the ambiance of the restaurant to be too dim for my liking, making it difficult to clearly see and appreciate the meal in front of me.

    Overall the experience was great. I cannot fault the staff or the food. We were however devasted when we realized the "exclusive use" area we booked and were designated was used as a throughfare for staff thorughout the evening resulting in constant disruptions of dishes , dity mops and furniture being carried though our event and my guests having to "get out the way" every 5 minutes. I do feel it is very unfare to charge the rates you do for that kind of an experience. The movement of the staff lead to other patrons entering our resvered area as waiters kept moving the rope and I was having to play bouncer all night to ensure our belongs were safe. Definitely would not book exclusivly for future events.

    Second time eating here. Both times were amazing! The food, the staff, the ambience. Our waitress Dee was wonderful as was Emmanuel. All the other staff are great too. Definitely one of the better dining experiences in Cape Town!

    I normally highly recommend ACS, however the service and food last night was awful. I will definitely not be booking another dinner for colleagues, friends or family to ACS in the future. when we complained about the food, a manager came to us when the food was basically sitting on the table and being eaten as we were all hungry. He did not apologise to us, he proceeded to explain what grill lines are on the food. Instead of apologising to us, he insulted our intelligence on how the food was cooked. The dishes ordered, I've ordered before and were amazing. Not sure what has happened with management since I last ate at ACS. The drink orders would take about 15 /20 minutes to come to us when we asked where the drinks were. I eventually gave up on asking where my drink was towards the evening. When paying a deposit for the evening, one would think that this is noted and automatically deducted from the bill however this was not the case and I had to ask the waiter to recalculate the bill. I will not be coming back to ACS for dinner in the future until this is resolved. My friends from Germany, were very disappointed with the entire experince.
