The small changes to the menu are great. My guests were halal and even though SPYCED is waiting to be halal certified, the kitchen is halal friendly, ingredients sourced from halal suppliers, and the chef is Muslim. You should include this on your website.

This was a spirited restaurant, starting with the drumming experience and followed by course after course of Malay food—all excellent. They competently catered to the vegetarian and gluten free eaters in our group. The manager came by our table to check in (very welcoming touch) and when learned we were celebrating a birthday, he facilitated a special acknowledgement. The jazz band was an enjoyable part of the evening and lead a samba line and line dancing at the end of dinner. This is more than a dining experience but a full memorable South African evening.

Clearly aimed at tourists, the service was bad, the waiter got every drink ordered wrong, the food and music were mediocre, the food at Spyced was just bland.

Absolutely amazing ! To me, the best dining experience in Cape Town. Food was literally delicious and the taste Of Spices perfectly balanced. Jazz music pairs well with the menu and decoration. Service was Perfect as well, people were kind and helpful. The sound engineer was very friendly, I regret I didn’t take his phone number to keep in touch. Congratulations Spyced and thank you ! I will be back soon ☺️
