The service was excellent. The wine was delicious. The food needs some work.

We had a lovely winetasting, very refined setting, excellent nibbles. And Jude provided great explanations and a great service. Thank you!

We had booked for a 1pm lunch and arrived 30 minutes early so we could taste a few wines before lunch. We were welcomed professionally at the gate and received a warm welcome at the tasting room / restaurant. The wines were exceptional, and the food was well presented and tasty. Unfortunately, the service was very slow - three hours to have 2 courses, and even the wait between drinks was unreasonably long. It was our wedding anniversary and whilst the restaurant presented us with a little celebration chocolate plate, it was as we were walking out the door so we couldn't even really sit and enjoy it. I'd really expect more from Rupert and Rothschild Vignerons!
