Enjoy a fabulous afternoon with family and friends while enjoying our pastry chef's masterful creations.

Enjoy our pastry chef’s selection of petit gateaux and exquisite teatime treats as well as a selection of savoury delights. Served daily from 2:30PM to 4:30PM with a last seating at 3:30pm.

Bookings are essential and full payment is required in order to confirm the booking.

Kindly note that 24 hours’ notice is required in order to prepare everything for the Royal Tea and there may be an additional charge for specific dietary requirements.

    My family and I had such a lovely Sunday after tea experience. With an unexpected tour of the rooftop by Nigel. Thank you so much to the entire team for making us feel welcomed and for the tasty treats.

    While we enjoyed the experience, it was difficult to not compare it to the experience we had at the high tea at Cellars at Hohenhort recently. The main differences were that 1) the food at Silo is served all at once as opposed to courses at Hohenort making it easier to remember what the items were 2) Silo offered a complimentary glass of iced tea while Hohenort offered a glass of MCC 3) Silo provided three kinds of tea while Hohenort allowed us to choose a different tea from an extensive menu for each course. The experience at Hohenort overlooks the beautiful hotel gardens and Silo’s overlooks the harbor. The Silo high tea was $575 Rand and the Hohenort high tea was $450 Rand.

    Had a fabulous time at the Silo yesterday. The high tea was well presented and tasty . The ambience was perfect and not forgetting live entertainment. was superb. 10/10 experience and highly recommended.

    We loved our Royal Tea and the wonderful setting in which it was served. The decor fits in so well with the concrete industrial base of what is now an impressive and iconic building on the Cape Town skyline. Our Royal Tea went far beyond our expectations. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared and well accompanied by the selection of different teas. A special mention is given for the service which was friendly and efficient. All in all, an experience to remember.
