    Found a new gem! Owner Dirk was really welcoming and friendly, and everything was more than we expected for a very special birthday dinner. Loved the art, too!

    We had a lovely lunch at Roots Bistro. The menu was small but considering that they have only just opened I prefer to have a small selection but know the ingredients are fresh. We tried the Carpaccio, the salmon tartare, various salads, the steak, a meat platter and some of their desserts, and every dish was beautifully prepared and presented, and tasty. We sat on the Patio but I hope they will sort out the backyard before summer for extra outdoor seating. At the moment it looks a bit umkempt but could be such a lovely spot under the shade of the trees. We will be back.

    The new Roots Bistro on Dunstone Country Estate is a true sensory experience . Love to ambient atmosphere ,opulent decor , art Gallery and attention to Decor . The food is amazing and the staff are attentive and friendly .
