Midweek dinners under the stars, Friday nights with friends, special occasions celebrated in style, and a delicious breakfast menu – join us for a memorable dining experience in the heart of Plettenberg Bay.

The main dining room sits in the oldest part of the hotel, in the original building constructed in 1777 as an army barracks for the Dutch East India Company before being converted into an Anglican rectory in 1869. An exquisite, centuries-old stone wall adds warmth and character to the space while the building’s heritage inspires a bistro-style menu that draws on Dutch, English and South African influences.

    We enjoyed our first dinner here so much that we decided to go again (twice!) to try as many dishes as we could. This restaurant has now become a staple for our annual visit to Plettenberg Bay.

    Very nice location and reasonably priced menu . It would have got another star if the waiter had been a bit more engaged in his job .

    The restaurant was hellish warm when we arrived and for some reason the fans were not switched on

    Restuarant was relatively empty. I do think the food took along time . My fillet was very rare and had to be taken back . Was sorted but for a 5 star establishment I would have expected much better. Thank you and I will come again.
